There is a quick fix in the xslts to handle metadata.
If the incoming SCORM package has IEEE LOM metadata in the manifest\metadata element, then the metadata will be copied dumbly into the namespace required from the LOM namespace into the CC metadata namespace.
I suspect that for most scorm packages, this will be enough; longer term, we should look to:
- do semantic mapping from all metadata formats to the CC metadata profile;
- write transforms for each mapping
- have some way of handling metadata specified in the adlcp extensions.

There is a risk that the dumb copy will fail validation as there may be additional constraints on the metadata that are not accounted for by doing a very simple copy. The remedy to this is a more extensive set of xslts to do metadata transformation.
